In Santa Monica California AP reports Superior Court Judge Mario Clinco denied actor Mickey Rooney sole custody of his four children from his fifth marriage. Rooney will remain a co guardian and the children stay with their maternal grandmother Helen Thomason of Rolling Hills. The judge noted Rooney has had a poor record as a father across his marriages and years.
Valencia newsroom reports that Ben the rat won the Patsy award hosted by the American Humane Association. The Won animal beat three horses a goose eight dogs an eagle two cats a raccoon four chimps a cougar and a duck in the competition. Ben examined the trophy afterward.
