Trump praises Puerto Rico response after Maria hurricane
President Donald Trump arrived in Puerto Rico amid widespread power and water outages from Hurricane Maria. He lauded his administration's efforts as "unbelievable" while downplaying the destruction and urging officials to feel proud they had not suffered hundreds of lives like Katrina. He criticized the territory’s budget impact and faced questions about aid timing amid claims the administration favored Texas and Florida.
