Two fatal and serious crashes on Iowa roads Sunday
An Indiana man died and two other occupants were seriously injured in a Sunday morning I 80 eastbound crash near the Ladora interchange. Loren Seese 45 Mishawaka Ind died at University Hospitals Iowa City after a helicopter medevac. A second vehicle occupant Patrick Carrico 37 Lakeville Ind and a teen driver David Huggins 17 Mishawaka Ind suffered serious injuries. A separate crash near Douds Iowa killed Nancy Caviness 32 when her car was crushed by a semi driven by Robert Batterson 37 Eldon Iowa whose brakes locked sending the truck into her car. Batterson was later reported in good condition.
