Habitat builds two story home in Cedar Rapids core
Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity dedicates a two story house on a former lot in Wellington Heights marking three decades of local work. Dona cien Nzeyimana and Safila Fedisoni, Burundian immigrants with four daughters, call the project a miracle and pledge a $300 donation. The home used sweat equity under Habitats hand up not a hand out model and fits the Beloved Community build aligned with World Habitat Day.
