82 year old man charged with lascivious acts
Perry Smith, 82, of 330 F avenue NW, waived to the grand jury on a charge of lascivious acts with a six year old girl after arraignment in justice court. Woman Killed Three Injured In Fayette Collision
A Hopkinton woman was killed and her husband and two daughters seriously injured in a two car crash south of Fayette. Mrs Clarence Moulton 39 died on arrival at Mercy hospital with Dorothy 19 and Mary Patricia 10 sustaining multiple fractures and lacerations. The other driver was Donald D Martens of Fayette. The Moultons were en route to visit daughter Roberta a student at Upper Iowa University.

Six in Family Hurt in Crash Near Earlville
At a crossing two miles north of Earlville a car carrying six family members collided with a Great Western railroad diesel engine at 10 am.
