Golda L Kirsch of Polk county filed a 212 16 damage suit against Sanitary Farm Dairies and one of its drivers Charles Couser. Alice Ellison sued Herbert R and Markis Wilkins for 420 rent on apartment at 149 Thirteenth street drive SE for January through May. Mrs Berkley B Brown sued Ralph Co Brown for 307 44 principal and interest on a note dated May 4 1953 with 20 already paid.

In Des Moines two armed robbers failed a morning hold up at Dahl's Food Mart on Thirty-fifth Street and Ingersoll Avenue.
