Southeast side woman beaten in home invasion and assault
Cindy Hernden, 31, was beaten with heavy metal and glass ashtrays during a break in at her 522 12th St SE residence. David Love, 26, of the same address, was charged with first degree robbery and second degree burglary. Hernden was hospitalized with deep head cuts and eye injuries.
