Open water swimmers form iCows group at Lake Macbride
Iowa City open water swimmers organized as iCows began as a loose pool workout group at City Park Pool. Now about 100 members train 2 miles per session in Lake Macbride with kayaker guides, from spring to early fall, under NDNR permission, aiming for water above 50 degrees.
