Mega Industrial Park Planned for Cedar Rapids Area
Iowa Land and Building a unit of Alliant Energy will develop the 1300 acre Big Cedar Industrial Center on the southwest edge of Cedar Rapids. It will be Iowa first Mega industrial park aimed at attracting large employers. Pricing starts at 30000 per acre and the site is near Eastern Iowa Airport and I 380. Officials will announce the project at a 1 30 pm news conference in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Army Corps says no plans to forcibly remove Dakota Access protesters
Federal authorities stated there were no plans to forcibly eject activists protesting the Dakota Access pipeline near the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota.
