Roosevelt eighth graders launch online student radio station
Seven Roosevelt Middle School students in Cedar Rapids run an online radio project tied to the Roosevelt Option program. They aim to raise about 18000 dollars with support from KZIA and Rockwell Collins, seeking equipment grants from Panasonic. The station should launch by January 1 and offer news in a student friendly format.
