Mother of Lyric Cook’s arrest sparks drug charges in Iowa
Misty Morrissey 36, mother of Lyric Cook, was arrested in West Union Fayette County on two counts of delivery of crystal meth, marijuana with intent to deliver, on going criminal conduct and paraphernalia possession. Todd Henriksen, 25, faced similar counts. Authorities found meth, marijuana, a digital scale and packaging materials in the residence. If convicted, Morrissey could face up to 50 years. Henriksen up to 15. The kidnapping case remains active with federal, state and local investigators involved.
