World War I Veterans Auxiliary Elect Officers

Edwin Sloan was elected commander of Linn County Barracks, Veterans of World War I, with Raphael P. Miers as installing officer. Mrs. Valentine DeWald was chosen president of the auxiliary along with a slate including Mrs. Charles J. Jasa and Mrs. Emil Erickson as senior and junior vice presidents.

Couple Will Observe Golden Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dozark will be honored at a family dinner Sunday at the Maryville Cafe to mark their golden wedding anniversary. An open house from 2 to 4 will be held at St. Marys hall. They married November 25, 1914, at St. Marys Church and have a daughter Mrs. Carl Falck of Manchester, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Teen-Age Queen Returns Home in Baltimore Welcome

Carolyn Mignini, 17, of Catonsville, crowned Miss Teen-Age America 1965, arrived at Friendship International Airport to a crowd of about 250 teens. Police escorted her and her mother to a car after the airport scene. Her father described relief at her return.
