Iowa lawyers' licenses suspended after grievance panel ruling
The Iowa Supreme Court suspended the licenses of Fort Dodge attorney Robert Ulstad for at least one year and Ames attorney Greg Steensland for at least six months for unethical conduct. Ulstad had pleaded guilty in 1984 to submitting a false 1977 federal tax return. Steensland mishandled an estate by taking down payments and fees without delivering, misrepresenting an escrow, failing to file taxes, and collecting for unperformed work.
