Campus crime drops at Iowa universities in 2009 report
University of Iowa burglaries and aggravated assaults fell significantly in 2009 from 2008 while forcible sex offenses rose slightly. At Iowa State University forcible sex offenses increased from five in 2007 to 20 in 2009 as education and reporting expanded. University of Northern Iowa saw declines in these crimes with five each for forcible sex offenses and burglaries and zero aggravated assaults in 2009.
