A Mount Vernon tea afternoon marks the start of monthly seminars directed by Dean Albion R. King. Women gathered at the Mrs. King home heard Miss Florence Keyes and Mae Randwall, with Mrs. Luella Ninde in charge of arrangements. The Mount Harmony Cemetery society met Thursday at the home of Mrs. Sam Smith to discuss upkeep and plans for the cemetery grounds.

West Liberty hostesses entertain with a prenuptial bridge honoring Miss Margaret Whitacre whose marriage to Wayne Ivey is set for Saturday. Prizes awarded to Mrs. Herbert Richards and Mrs. L. V. Morris. Legion Auxiliary met with post commander George Peters as guest speaker.
