Anamosa Receives 500000 Bequest for Community Center
The late Roy C. Lawrence bequeathed more than 500000 to Anamosa for a new community center and to fund upkeep. The will also leaves the city his house contents and a two story brick home to the Anamosa Historical Society. Executors are George Kuba and Guaranty Bank.
