High Type of Teaching Personnel Urged by Speaker
Florence B. Reynolds of Omaha told about 200 Cedar Rapids educators that two factors hinder education. She cited difficulty attracting top personnel and insufficient public financial and moral support as the main barriers to professionalizing teaching. She praised local groups and urged schools to back teacher associations at state and national levels. Arthur Deamer and Harold Templeman introduced her. Alan Richardson performed on cello.
