Cedar Rapids man accused of child sex abuse
Wayne Patrick Gibson, 42, is jailed on second and third degree sex abuse charges for abusing a minor at his Glass Road NE home between January 1, 2016 and April 11 this year. The alleged abuse began when the victim was under 12 and continued until age 13. Gibson, held on $65,000 bond, has a prior rap sheet with nine felonies since 1996 including attempted murder, robbery and drug, parole and firearms violations.
