Iowa Community Support Boosts Million-Dollar Hunger and Small Business Aid
The state expands assistance with 100 million to national and local nonprofits including Food Bank of Iowa River Bend Foodbank and HACAP Food Reservoir to boost medical response capacity aid vulnerable populations and fight food insecurity. An additional 250 million is provided to CDFI loan funds and minority owned banks to extend help to more small businesses.
