Mother wins default in suit over molestation of daughter
In Des Moines, Kasey Hilpipre won a $1 million civil suit by default against Dean Hilpipre, the grandfather of her 7-year-old daughter, after he failed to answer. A June 6 scheduling conference will determine the award amount. The case follows Hilpipre’s February five-year probation sentence for related acts.
