Android M adds Android Pay and fingerprint unlock at I/O
Google unveils Android M with Android Pay a tied payment platform expanding to over 700 000 U S stores and third party apps. Fingerprint authorization will work on devices with scanners while Android Pay remains available to older Android versions. Nordstrom Sells Credit Card Operation to TD Bank
Nordstrom sells its credit card operation to Toronto based TD Bank Group for about 2.2 billion in receivables. TD becomes sole issuer of Nordstrom branded Visa and private label cards while Nordstrom funds and manages its rewards program and debit cards. The deal should close in the second half of 2015 pending regulators approval. Nordstrom maintains customer service for cards and a share of future revenue.

Fed finds many Americans lack retirement savings
The Federal Reserve says about a third of working adults have no retirement savings or pension and 38 percent plan to never retire or keep working. Among low income households under 40 thousand, 55 percent intend to work long term, while 65 percent feel their families are at least OK financially.
