Fred Williamson Joins Julia as Regular Steve Bruce

Former NFL defensive halfback Fred Williamson becomes a regular on NBC’s Julia for the third season. He plays Julia’s main romantic interest Steve Bruce after previously appearing in Absence Makes the Heart Glow colorcast April 21. Williamson’s acting includes M A S H and Tell Me That You Love Me Junie Moon.

Leslie Warren Joins Mission Impossible Cast

New York Leslie Warren has signed to play a regular role in Mission: Impossible for season five on CBS. She will portray an actress-singer vital to the Impossible Missions Force. Warren starred at 16 in Cinderella, later appearing on Broadway in 110 in the Shade and Drat the Cat and on The Carol Burnett Show as well as Run for Your Life and Dr. Kildare.

Rafer Johnson climbs Hollywood ladder with acting roles

Rafer Johnson, 1960 Olympic decathlon champion turned sportscaster and actor, discusses his move into film. He recalls being warned by the AAU about losing amateur status over a Spartacus offer, notes rivals like Jim Brown and Woody Strode, and says he aims to keep working as an actor while pursuing TV roles.
