Community Tool Library aids Cedar Rapids do it yourselfers
Cedar Rapids residents can borrow more than 150 garden carpentry painting plumbing and mechanical tools from the Community Tool Library at 105 Eighth Ave SE. Volunteers run the operation three days a week and more help is sought to expand hours. Borrowers may take tools for at least a week after confirming address, with deposits for costly items and fines for late returns.
