Corbett Discusses Disaster Aid and Flood Plans With Biden
Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett met with Vice President Joe Biden to press for streamlined federal flood recovery rules and more support for Cedar Rapids flood protection. Corbett cited FEMA and HUD programs but urged national policy changes as new disasters in Rhode Island and Nashville loom. He framed the talk as a two to three minute, staff free exchange.
