Ned Devitt plans to revive the Smouse House as a dining venue while keeping The Captain's Table name. The historic Washington property, built 1913–1916 by Winfield Smouse, is on the National Register and features ornate brickwork, a former telephone closet, and a tavern named Yesterdays. Plans include refurbishing with local youths, sourcing original furniture, and opening more rooms to draw tourists to historic sites.
