About 100 drivers attending Marion High School commencement exercises at the athletic field were ticketed Sunday between 3 and 5 p.m. by Marion police. Vehicles were in prohibited parking areas while US Senator Dick Clark spoke. overflow spectators watched from the field.

Six persons charged with drunk driving in weekend arrests
Six individuals were arrested on drunk driving charges over the weekend and today. Craig Bemisdorfer 29 of 420 B Ave NW faced a disobeying a stop sign charge after a 12 20 a m arrest in the 1900 block of Fifth Avenue SE. Layton C Morrow 18 of Central City was taken into custody at 11 50 p m Saturday at the intersection of Highway 13 and Barber Street and charged with failure to maintain control. Steven C Schott 25 of Route 2 Marion was arrested at 9 25 p m Saturday on Highway 13 near County Road E-14. Richard L Dahl 23 Routes 3 Cedar Rapids was held at 8 44 p m Saturday in the 1100 block of Seventh Ave Marion. Joyce L Dighton 25 of Seminole Valley Park was arrested at 1 44 a m Sunday at the intersection of Highways 1 and 30. Russell E Andersen 29 of Solon was arrested at 4 21 a m Sunday in Center Point and charged with failure to obey a police officer.

Juveniles Arrested in Marion Over Seven Days
Marion police report seven juveniles arrested in the last week with three for theft, three for criminal mischief and one for burglary. They also recovered a stolen car last Saturday from Katz Salvage and south of Marion Airport. Coors Debate Set in Iowa On Boycott Support
