Dr and Mrs Starling rescued from the Zamzam, sunk by Germans at sea, are described as friends of Mrs Anna Helberg of 1227 Fourth Avenue SE. British subjects who lived 14 years in Hong Kong returned to London in 1936, moved to Davenport briefly, and came to the United States so Mr Starling could study chiropractic. They planned to travel to West Cape Town to establish a practice.
