School shooter dead after Winnetka elementary attack

A distraught babysitter armed with multiple guns opened fire at Hubbard Woods Elementary in Winnetka injuring five children and a 20-year-old man before shooting herself. Police identified the shooter as Lori Wasser man Dann, 30, who died nine hours later as a SWAT team stormed a nearby home. One 8-year-old, Nicholas Corwin, died. four other children were hospitalized in stable condition. A 38-caliber pistol and a .357 Magnum revolver were recovered. police questioned how she obtained a license for the weapon.

Tentative exit deal for Noriega to nine months from August
