Linn County seeks 46 acres beside Pinicon Ridge Park
The Linn County Conservation Board plans to buy 46 acres of land adjacent to Pinicon Ridge Park near Central City to keep as open space and act as a buffer against future western development. The land, partly wooded and partly cultivated, sits on estate property and would help solve a drainage issue on the main road. If the offer is accepted, donations may cover most costs, though the exact amount offered was not disclosed.
