The 33rd Eastern Iowa Horse Show, sponsored by the Iowa City Saddle Club, occurs Saturday June 16 at the Johnson County 4 H Fairground on Highway 218. Chairmen are Mr and Mrs Cordin Bechler with Lester Kempf as club president Hal Knowling as announcer and Ivan French of Kansas City MO as judge. Organist Helen Murray Ana mosaic. The show is accredited by the Iowa Stock Horse Iowa Horse Show and Iowa Girls Barrel Race associations. A queen contest for girls 17 and under is sponsored by the Iowa Stock Horse Association. Over 1500 dollars in cash prizes plus trophies and ribbons in 23 classes and electric timers for timed events. Show begins at 5 p.m.
