Farm ills need joint action says Gazette editor
Ray Anderson the Gazette farm editor told Cedar Rapids Retail Credit Association members at Hotel Roosevelt that farm programs will recur and be rejected until the public acts in hard times. He urged business leaders and farmers to unite and recognize mutual interests to solve agricultural woes. He noted diverse expert suggestions and predicted more attempts before a correct diagnosis and effective prevention. The June meeting will be a picnic at Upper Palisades.
