Tele-extenders offer budget friendly lens extension option
Extenders fit between lens and camera to multiply focal length by 1.4 2 or 3 times. They price from 25 to 400 dollars and work on many lenses saving money but reducing speed and sharpness. For pros the 1.4X is popular turning 300mm into 420mm with minor loss, while 3X offers questionable results and mixed reviews.
