Tractor Overturns Kill Woman on Farm Near Elkader

Scattered frost and much colder temperatures will follow soaking rains in Eastern Iowa tonight as the weather bureau notes. Rain totals exceed 2 inches in western Iowa and will end tonight as northeasterly winds ease. Temperatures slip to the mid 30s with Sunday warmer, highs in the upper 50s to low 60s and a 20 percent chance of more rain. A cold front from the northwest brought the rainfall Friday night and cleared by today, leaving most showers in Eastern Iowa.
