The Cedar Rapids hog market was steady with butchers 210 to 240 pounds at 39.50 to 40.50 while packers above 550 pounds sold up to 550 pounds at 34.50 to 35.50. Light hogs 200 to 210 pounds discounted 50 cents and heavier weights saw 25 cents to 75 cents off per 10 pounds beyond 260. Sheep trade held steady for spring lambs at 60 to 62 dollars. Buying hours are 7 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday.
