Dear Abby letters spark dual debates on Cancer Society finances
A reader questions ACS spending with claims of high salaries. Abby cites 1975 figures and breaks down expenditures as 27.1 percent research, 13.3 patient services, 9.0 community services, 17.2 education, 10.2 professional education, totaling 78.8 percent for programs and 23.3 percent for direct cancer patient aid. Another reader asks about a co worker who makes conversations sexual. Abby notes such fixation often signals ongoing sexual activity and hints at her teen booklet giveaway.
