Wayne Morgan born October 7, 1950, is a long time basketball coach with over 30 years in the profession. He served as head coach at Long Beach State from 1996 to 2002 posting 91 wins and 84 losses, with a top season in 1999 00 at 24 6 aiding a NIT bid. He previously coached at Syracuse 1984 96 and held posts at Dartmouth Xavier Ithaca College Dutchess Community College and St Lawrence. Morgan earned a BA from St Lawrence in 1973 and an MA from Ithaca College in 1974. He and his wife Maribeth have three children Jerusha Shayne and Ciara.
