NRC says IE did not buy suspect piping materials
NRC officials report Iowa Electric Light and Power Co is not among 38 plant operators warned about potentially faulty piping from Piping Supplies Inc and West Jersey Manufacturing Co. Tests claimed to meet ASME standards, but supporting documents were lacking. West Jersey's reports were falsified, though no purchaser ties found for IE.
