Iowa City fires deemed intentional at multiple sites
Investigators say a recent string of fires in Iowa City were set on purpose. The latest blaze damaged the Iowa Book and Supply loading dock at 804 S Capitol St, causing about 25000 dollars in losses with no injuries.

Woman injured in Cedar Rapids bus accident identified
Hol ly M. Spreeman 22 of 2110 Westdale Dr SW was hurt on Wiley Boulevard near Williams Boulevard when she tried to pass a slow moving Five Seasons bus on the right. She remained at University Hospitals in Iowa City Sunday night with condition not released Monday. The 10 year old Shane Flanigan of 504 West Post Rd NW was critically injured after running into a westbound minivan on E Avenue NW near West Post Road on Saturday evening. Jeffrey Henderson 53 of Cedar Rapids drove the minivan. no charges were filed.
