Tymeson to oversee Iowa Veterans Home after leadership probe
Gov. Branstad announced retired Brig. Gen. Jodi Tymeson will resign as head of the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs to become chief operating officer at the Marshalltown Iowa Veterans Home. She will oversee day to day operations starting May 28, with Commandant David Worley remaining top leader. The action follows a Senate hearing raising concerns about intimidation and harassment at the facility.
