Trial Sheehy cites improper photo use and ruse by DCI
Sheehy claims the DCI biased a former officer’s recollections by showing a single 1978 car photo rather than a set for possible ID. He also says a DCI agent posed as a spouse abuser in Van Skike’s cell to elicit admissions, an action he calls unlawful and outrageous. The case, moved to Johnson County District Court, may run into a second week with one day of jury selection.
