Confusion over rezoning vote leaves outcome unclear
Marion City Council faced a baffling zoning vote for the Union 76 site at East Post Road and Grand Avenue. With objections withdrawn, the panel split vote failed to meet a three fourths requirement, leaving City Attorney Don Hoskins to study the code while Behrens seeks a used car business under existing nonconforming rules.
