Mrs. Howard P. McJunkin, wife of a Charleston businessman, escaped a pistol abductor at a drive-in restaurant after being forced from her home. The kidnapper, a blond man and a woman, fled in a blue sedan toward Kentucky and Ohio. She suffered a minor head bump but fled unharmed after her captors stopped to contact her husband.
