E. O. Schieck a 45 year old farm owner thirty miles west of Fort Morgan Colorado hacked to death his estranged wife 41 and his hired hand Dan Faurot accusing them of breaking up his home. Four Deaths In Family In One Day

Four deaths occurred in the family of Rev. J. T. Clinton on the same day. C S Clinton died in Clovis New Mexico. Mrs. J C Comer died in Pittsburg Texas. A brother Dr L B Clinton and his wife were killed in an auto crash at Crosbyton. Mrs Clinton could not reach New Mexico for the funeral.
