Marion YMCA JOYOUS matinee cinema planned for Saturdays
A cooperative effort between the Marion YMCA and Jaycees will offer Saturday matinees in the YMCA teen room to serve children after the city’s only theater shifted to adult films. The program starts next Saturday at 2 p.m. and runs to 4 30 with a Walt Disney feature and a swim in the YMCA pool. Admission is 25 cents for members and 50 cents for non members. The venture is non profit and films are booked through Pratt Educational Media of Cedar Rapids. The YMCA is at Tenth Avenue and Thirty First Street.
