Longtime friends launch East End Art gallery in Mount Vernon
Kim Wolfe and Christine Goodwin, longtime friends with art backgrounds, open East End Art on the second floor of the former Mount Vernon Middle School building. They secure startup backing from owners Rick and Trude Elliott, recruit about 50 artists, and select 35 through a five member jury panel.
