Center Point Library Expands After Private Donations
Center Point Public Library closes for three weeks to prepare the new 15 000 square foot addition, bringing total space to 20 000 square feet. About 22 000 books and movies will be moved as the expansion, funded largely by private gifts, unfolds. The project began in 2013 and adds study rooms, a children's area, a fireplace, and a basement community center. The library serves more than 5 000 visitors monthly.
