The truck, driven by Terry D Danke, 20, Kellogg, was cited for loss of vehicle control and license restriction. The car’s driver James D Thompson II, 20, and his 20-year-old wife Nancy were treated at Mercy hospital for a right thigh injury and released. The collision occurred at 7:50 p.m.

R C Johnston of Wellsboro Pa lifted his single engine plane from a private road to resume a homeward flight after an emergency landing on a half mile coal pile at Commonwealth Edison plant in Hammond near Lake Michigan.
