A ClosingCorp survey of 1,007 adults finds two thirds of millennials aged 18 to 34 lack awareness of closing costs. The study says education is needed as millennials rely on Realtors for cost information more than lenders and plan to buy later. Closing costs run about 2 to 5 percent of purchase price.
Bloomberg News reports U S durable goods orders declined 1.4 percent in February after a 2 percent January gain, signaling softer demand as global growth slows and a strong dollar attracts foreign buyers.
