Cook-Off crowns Rick Johnson with top bread prize
Rick Johnson of Cedar Rapids won the grand prize for Rick's Old Fashioned Oatmeal Bran Bread at The Gazette Seventh Annual Cook-Off held Saturday at the Five Seasons Center. La Barron took second in desserts with Miami Beach Birthday Cake. eight $100 Hy-Vee gift certificates and several grand prizes were awarded to locals including Vera Sadler and Ron Bower.
