Construction outlook 1983 rise in building volume expected
A nationwide AGC poll of 32 000 contractors forecasts higher 1983 construction activity. Commercial builders expect an 11.3 percent jump, local government utility work up 7.1 percent, and heavy industrial projects up 3.8 percent as rates stay favorable and private markets stay strong.
